About me

I am a PhD research student at the University of Sheffield in medical education. My study focuses on feedback and how students recognise and understand the ‘feedback message’. I live in Sheffield and also did my undergrad here, I have a particular passion for education research leading to improvement from the student perspective rather than encouraging the inflated “tick-box” culture.

This blog will not merely contain intellectual musings of my journey through academia (well, maybe a decent amount), i’m hoping to convey how this process will affect me personally. I’ll post things that interest me rather than give a detailed outline of my inner monologue, every month there will be something new on here. I’m also posting smaller articles of interest.
